Description: This week I'm offering a number of old non-sport cards from various vintage sets. In 1958, reflecting the fact that Westerns had pretty much taken over prime time television, Topps issued a 72-card set showcasing the stars of various cowboy shows. The set featured several cards each of shows like "Gunsmoke," "Have Gun Will Travel," and some other shows that have been forgotten. This has remained one of the more popular and sought-after sets for non-sport collectors. Here I have card #63 from the series "Tales of Wells Fargo," entitled "Guarding the Gold." It's in very nice shape, except for being somewhat off center (see scans for condition). All in all, a set designed to appeal to any collector. This would be a terrific addition to any collection!
