Description: This platinum ruby and diamond ring weighs 6.2 grams. Nice and sturdy, the ring has a center ruby, measuring 7.3x5.7 mm and securely set in a four pronged setting. The stone has a very rich blood red color with lots of fire and translucency. A very lively stone whose brilliance cannot be captured in photos. The ruby weighs 1.22 carats and is very brilliant, elegantly faceted in a classic oval cut. The ruby is considered to be "pigeon blood red", very rare and highly coveted this color is the highest possible color that can be awarded to a ruby. Truly a gem. The ruby is surrounded by a halo cocktail of round and baguette diamond accents, combining to weigh 0.74 carats (stamped). The diamonds are eye clean and colorless, jeweler graded to be F-G in color and VS1-VS2 in clarity with lots of brilliance and life. The ring comes with a GIA report, report number 2225624619 (the physical GIA report will accompany the ring). The ring is currently a size 6.75 and can be sized to half a size for free.
