Description: Vintage Mixed Media Painting by Sybil Emerson 1960s A wonderful mixed media (watercolor and pen) post- impressionist piece by Sybil Emerson titled "Weeds". Signed bottom right. The artwork is on rice paper and still housed in the artist's original frame. The frame has been updated; however, to include conservation matting, foam core, and mulberry paper hinges with rice paste. See photo with conservationist's notes on back of frame. The artwork is housed in a contemporary white frame that compliments the artwork nicely. The modern presentation should work nicely in a wide variety of architecture and decor styles. 29.5 x 26.5 x 2" in frame This item is in excellent condition. A NOTE ON GLASS: Glass breaks far too easily in transport. Many sellers remove glass prior to shipping so they do not disappoint the owner when the piece arrives broken.
