Although the original cover of the original plat book identifies the year “1961”, the majority of the plat book pages identify the year “1948”. Other dates, ranging from about “2-8-55” to about “11-1-60”, are identified at scattered locations throughout various plat listings. The Ingalls plat book is generally arranged as follows: Original Plat; 1st Addition; Glass Works Addition; Highland’s Home Addition; and, 2nd Addition. Typical land ownership entries include the name(s) of the owner(s), plat number, description, land value, value of improvements, and combined land and improvements value. Interspersed with the scans of the original plat maps are corresponding modern aerial-view maps, which were provided on or about March 9, 2016 by the Madison County Surveyor’s Office, Anderson, Indiana.
