Description: You are looking at an original Skipper doll by Mattel made in 1963 in its original box. Box is damaged (please see pictures). Skipper doll is a red-headed doll with its original red & white sunsuit. The sunsuit is in overall good condition. Front white trim is lifted, but just needs to be repositioned. The elastic/fabric is frayed in the crotch area (see pictures). Skipper has been wearing her metal headband for many years, so there is corrosion on either side of her head (temple area). Skipper is wearing white ballet flats too. In the box there are 2 really cool advertisements that feature "all costumes" and are illustrated beautifully in the booklets. Each booklet is dated 1963. It's named "Junior-Edition Styles." Skipper doll is clean with the exception of the greenish corrosion on her temples. Box measures 10" x 2" x 3".
