Vintage Super Port Flowed by Crane Cams. (I do not have flow numbers for these). I obtained these heads in 1986. Veteran performance enthusiasts will surely remember the Crane head porting service. These were professionally prepared by the camshaft maker that featured bowl work, gasket-matched ports. "Super Port Flow" heads are also referred to as "Fireball" heads. This listing is for an original pair of GM high performance cylinder heads for Small Block Chevy engines. The casting number on each head is 3782461. This casting is known as a “camel hump” or “camel back” head due to the double humps cast into the ends of the head. The camel hump heads were reserved for the higher performance Small Block Chevy engines. These particular heads have the 2.02 intake and 1.60 inch exhaust valves, which were used on 340/365/370 hp engines. A professional racing engine machine shop has recently refurbished these heads this year. Both heads have casting dates of K 30 3 which decode as November 30th of 1963. This is a real deal pair of date matched 3782461 camel hump heads without accessory holes. These are very nice original 3782461 heads that have been carefully modified in the pockets, exhaust and intake ports. They are free of breaks, flaws or repairs. They are complete and ready to run. All threads are in good shape with no helicoils for thread inserts. The valves sit very high in the seats, not sunken due to wear like most you will see. These heads are guaranteed to be free of cracks. These 3782461 heads are becoming difficult to find in any condition. Don't miss this very clean, tastefully modified, date matched pair.
