This 3G alternator is an upgraded built in regulator model. This is not the factory alternator for early Fords. The bolt in dimensions are the same. The 3G is much more reliable and efficient. REPLACES INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL REGULATED MODELS. GREEN/RED WIRE REQUIRES KEYED IGNITION OR LAMP CONNECTION. REQUIRES FOUR GAUGE POWER CABLE UPGRADE. Supplied with single v belt pulley and install kit. This 100% NEW alternator is made to run stereo cars, CB hi watt amps, winches, light bars, spotlights, etc. It is police duty, and ready for action. It has a tough diode pack and voltage regulator, improved bearings, etc. This new alternator offers 75 amps capability at 800 engine (idle) rpm. Connect green/red wire to ignition source or no charge indicator lamp. A four gauge power cable is required for proper battery maintenance. The new power cable is available from us custom made to fit. This cable is professional grade with commercial crimped terminals and heat shrink tubing to protect the integrity of the connection.
