Description: For sale is a beautiful 1966 Ludwig Oyster Black Pearl "Jazz Festival" Snare Drum in excellent original condition. Snare drum is 5 5/16" deep x 14" in diameter. Original Ludwig BOP wrap is absolutely gorgeous on this one. I've seen many of these drums, but this one sports a beautiful pattern. See pictures and enjoy for yourself. Original white paint interior that still has that Ludwig smell to it...Wrap goes into the seam like it should. Keystone badge #287772. VERY faint date stamp of Apr 2, 1966 if I'm seeing it correctly. Again, it's super faint...but it's there. The badge number dates this snare drum to 1966. Original badge grommet in great shape and tight to the shell. Original white BB muffler completely intact and works perfectly. Drum also sports the original script-logo snare wires, script-logo P-83 strainer, and script logo butt plate. Keystone badge is a little bent, but is not loose and not tampered, and the bottom hoop is a little out of round. Original wrap still sports it's color with very little blemishes. Beautiful pattern on this particular drum. Overall a gorgeous, original BOP Jazz Fest that will accommodate any Beatles "Ringo" kit out there.
