1967 Canada Proof-Like Set and Capital Plastics Holder 4HUP

Description: DESCRIPTION 1967 Canada Proof-Like Set and Capital Plastics Holder 4HUP Up for sale is a six-coin set issued by the Royal Canadian Mint in 1967 to celebrate the 100-year anniversary of the formation of the Dominion of Canada. On July 1, 1867, the British North America Act was signed by British Parliament. This act combined the separate territories of Canada, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick into a single unified region, the Dominion of Canada. To celebrate this anniversary, the Royal Canadian Mint released six coin designs on one cent, five cent, ten cent, twenty-five cent, fifty cent, and one dollar coins which depict Canadian wildlife. These designs briefly replaced the designs commonly seen on Canadian coins since 1937. The one cent coin displays a rock dove in flight instead of the maple leaf cluster. The five cent coin depicts a snowshoe hare as opposed to the beaver. The ten cent coin depicts an Atlantic mackerel fish which might have been caught in the nets by the Bluenose vessel normally depicted on the ten cent coin. The twenty-five cent coin displays a prowling lynx taking over from the close-up of the caribou head on the coin. The fifty cent coin displays a howling wolf, an iconic image of Canadian wildlife as opposed to the Canadian Coat of Arms supported by a lion and a unicorn. The one dollar coin shows a Canadian goose in flight. This replaced the Voyageur design on the dollar coin. The ten cent, twenty-five cent, fifty cent, and one dollar coins are composed of 80% pure silver. The five cent coin is composed of pure nickel. The one cent coin is composed of bronze. These coins come in a Capital plastics holder made to fit a Canadian six coin set. Please view photos and feel free to ask questions. Let's discuss offers: If we have make an offer enabled, please make a reasonable offer. We try to pay a fair price when we buy coins, so 30% off offers will be ignored. eBay makes more per coin when you buy it than I do. If we do not have that option enabled, please DO NOT email us about a lower price. Let's discuss feedback: We are not perfect. When we make a mistake, we will admit to it and fix it. We respectfully request that you leave 5-star feedback to help maintain our seller fees low. Most people do not realize that 4-star seller ratings make sellers fees go up. Please consider that when leaving feedback. We use barcodes to track all our items. This is the little 4-character code, 4HUP, written on the holder. Your item will ship in a nondescript box or bubble mailer with tracking, signature required, and insurance when necessary. When ordering multiple items, order them together to save on shipping. Multiple items ordered separately may result in your order being delayed an additional day. Guaranteed Authentic All our items are 100% Authentic and genuine. We have EXTENSIVE training in counterfeit coins and currency. There is an astronomical amount of counterfeit coins out there. We have intentionally purchased coins directly from China, so that all our employees have them to reference to PREVENT buying them. These coins were used in an actual ANA counterfeit detection class, which was attended by all our employees. We have also won awards for our counterfeit display at coin shows. Accurate Grading Of course, grading is subjective. It is simply an opinion. You know, everyone has one. We grade strictly in accordance with the ANA Grading Standard. Our Chief Grader, Bill, finished in the top of the ANA Summer Seminar Advanced Grading Class. This class is taught by senior graders at PCGS, NGC, and ANACS. He is also an authorized dealer for these grading services. TERMS & CONDITIONS Payment - Please pay as soon as you are done shopping. This helps get your order to you in a timely fashion without problems. If you do not pay, our software lets other people buy your item locally AND on our other shopping sites. We do not mind if you need more time, just let us know so we can mark the item accordingly. Please contact us if you want to pay with an option beyond what eBay allows. If your account is registered anywhere but the United States, an extra 3% will be added. The order will be canceled and relisted with the 3%, if you choose to accept. Or go to our commerce site and there will be no extra fee. Item Availability - Please note that we have a retail coin shop, an e-commerce site, and attend an average of two coin shows a month. Sometimes our inventory gets sold locally, and we don’t have a chance to remove it from eBay yet. If that happens, we will immediately refund your money. We are literally a small three employee business. Postage - Please bear in mind that our postal charges include actual postage costs, and packaging which is AT LEAST $6 per package. We do not ship internationally, as we had too many lost packages. If you are purchasing multiple items, ask for an invoice to save on shipping. Or check out our commerce site for lower shipping. Dispatch Times - We normally ship your order via Ground Advantage within one day of payment. Unless we are at a show, then the next business day. Once your order has shipped, the tracking information will be automatically uploaded into your eBay account. Your item will probably take up to five days for delivery. We ship thousands of coins a year, about 2% take up to 3-4 weeks. USPS will NOT update the item location in transit, do not expect them to. If the item is lost in the mail (this happens in less than 1% of shipments), we will refund your purchase price. We abide by the USPS definition for a lost item: not delivered within 30 days of shipment. Returns - We really do not mind returns at all however, administrative costs require us to impose a 10% restocking fee. VERY IMPORTANT: We ONLY accept returns on raw items IF and ONLY IF the coin/currency has not been removed from the holder we shipped it in. All items will be inspected thoroughly before a refund is issued. If you do not love the item, we encourage you to return it. ABOUT US Low Country Coins was established in 2006 by Bill, while on active duty in the U.S. Navy (now retired from active duty). Early on, we figured out that selling coins online would only work if you accurately represent your coins, offer them at a fair price, and provide excellent customer service. Now we are one of the largest online retailers of coins and currency in the US, and the largest in SC. Please feel free to ask questions. We are always happy to answer.
