Description: Vintage hen mallard duck decoy made of plastic by Woodstream. This decoy is the Victor D-9-R. Dated as 1967, Floats or can be placed flat on dry land. I personally hunted over decoy in the late 60s and through the 70s/80s. Paint is in decent condition but has been used extensively and wear spots are evident throughout. NOTE: Decoy has received one piece of lead shot that entered on the left side of breast. Can be easily seen in picture 6 & 7. The hole is located above water line so it won't compromise ability to float. Some manufacturing defect underside of bill. Can be seen in picture 13 and the last photo as well. Measures about 15 inches from tail to end of beak. The weight is 16 ounces. Mailing weight is 25 ounces. Will be well packaged for safe delivery in a sturdy box.
