Description: This vintage Hess Truck has been restored. It is definitely a 68 because it shows no rivets on the underside switchbox, the catwalk does not extend all the way to the end of the tank and the tank legs have round feet. Nearly all the parts were replaced with good reproductions, new lights were put in and the battery case was altered. Now, the switch, the lights and the battery case function normally. There is a small gap between the top and bottom of the tank on the trucks left side. The box has good integrity and just a little rash. I replaced some of the graphics on the top where they were damaged. The bottom insert is included. Trust my feedback and buy with confidence.
