The Friday morning ceremony, marking a start of construction, attracted civic groups and other library boosters as well as county officials and Senator Henry Sayler, R-St. Petersburg, who recalled times when he and Johnson hunted dove and quail in the once-isolated Seminole area--now a modern complex of subdivisions, shopping centers, banks and other commercial facilities.
