Description: 1971 SAN FRANCISCO GIANTSADV 20 Card Team SetStrat-O-Matic Baseball(20 Cards Only, No Additional Players, No Game Parts)by Strat-O-Matic, Glen Head, NY(1972)Woo-hoo! This is the GOOD STUFF! These are the ORIGINAL release cards, in light blue printing (Advanced side), set up for Basic & Advanced play only! This 20 card roster Strat Baseball team is in Very Good to Excellent condition, inventoried, sorted, & complete! They do have obvious signs of wear but they are tested, rested, & ready to play again! This is a GREAT player's set! 1. Bonds has a neatly glue repaired off data tear. The card also has erased pencil on the Basic & spots on stealing & running ratings on the Advanced side. All game data is easily legible & highly playable. 2. 5 cards (Mays, Kingman, Dietz, Speier, Bonds, & Healy) all have barely visible erased pencil above their game data on the Basic side. Man, did the kids of this era LOVE to write on their own stuff to claim a sense of ownership! Also new cards cost more money so let's just tag the ones we've got! Healy also has 2 small light creases that went through his 3 column vs. RHP & a light pen mark at 3-12 on the Basic side. Dietz has a small near miss off data spot between 3-6 & 3-7 data vs. LHP on the Advanced side. Speier has an off data spot below his 2 & 3 column data vs. LHP at the bottom of his Advanced side. All game data on all of these cards is easily legible & highly playable. 3. 7 cards (Bryant, McCovey, Marichal, Gallagher, Cumberland, & Lanier) all have small light off data spots. No game data affected whatsoever. Bonds also has spots. Please see #1. 4. 5 cards (Stone, Rosario, Fuentes, Gallagher, & Henderson) all have small light off data creases. No game data affected whatsoever. There are 13 cards in Very Good condition, 4 are in Excellent condition with the remaining 3 in Near Mint condition (G. Perry, Carrithers, & J. Johnson). These were printer cut & hand collated cards produced by Strat-O-Matic before going to the perforated, tear-'em & sort-'em yourself format.
