Description: Used original 1972-1973 mustang cougar 4 speed manual trans toploader 3rd-4th gear rod D2ZA 7326-AA and 3rd-4th gear lever 2ZR 02 AA, will also fit 1971's but not #'s correct. Requires special bushing to attach lever to rod (not included), available from most mustang parts vendors (the aftermarket hurst bushings w/ clip won't work). This rod/lever combination has extra bend to clear 1972/1973 seat belt warning sensor that screwed into left side of trans case, just above the 3-4 lever. Rod/lever has what looks like a zinc coating on them, rod has a lot of pitting on slotted end, nice towards pin end, lever looks nice both sides.
