All is donewithout even one piece of music before him. After the concert severalpeople crowd around the piano to be delighted by more of the unusualmusic he produces without effort.This is Robert L. Silverman, a young man of exceptional talent. Born in1937, Bob began picking out tunes on the piano at the age of two. Hisformal piano training began at age seven and three years later he won firstprize at the Jersey City, New Jersey, YMCA Music Festival and Recital.Mr. Silverman received his Associate in Arts Degree from Los AngelesCity College, and Bachelor and Master of Arts degrees from CaliforniaState College at Los Angeles, and a graduation diploma at the UnitedStates Naval School of Music at Washington, D.C. His training has beenprimarily in piano and organ. However, with his skills he has served as bandand choral director as well as music instructor at various schools and formany music festivals. Before dedicating his talents to Christian service, hewas an elementary music specialist for the Palo Verde Unified SchoolDistrict, Blythe, California.The Heritage Singers, USA are happy to present Bob Silverman in thisalbum at the organ and piano.C.
