1977 Chevrolet C-10 Scottsdale Big10

Description: This is an antique and does not have the standard 17 digit VN; truck VIN is CCL447J178693 1977 Chevrolet C10 Scottsdale Big10, Crate 350 with TH350 automatic transmission. 12-bolt rear-end 3.07, Power Steering, Power front disc and rear drum brakes, air conditioning, 140,000 estimated miles. Vehicle title in hand. The Good: This is a solid truck that starts up and runs without problem. The interior is nearly perfect, horn honks, wipers wipe, lights and signals work, all the gauges work, aftermarket blue tooth radio sounds good with hands free calling through the mounted mic, working dual fuel tanks. I drive this truck several times a week on short errands and on the highway without any problems. This is a fun truck that gets lots of compliments.The Not So Good: The truck was repainted some time ago and the paint has small chips and light scratches (looks great a few feet away). Appears to have had a bed cover at some point and the tops/sides of bed have scrape marks. There is some rust in the usually C10 spots (both rear cab corners and passenger side front fender-see pictures). One very small rock chip in windshield. The door jab dome light switches do not work and the cigarette lighter does not work. The dome light will come on if you switch it on using the headlight knob. There is a stain under the passenger side floor mat.The carburetor runs great, but the divorced choke is iffy and is fixed wide open for now. There is wiring for an electric choke which a conversion kit is available for around $50. We don't get much cold here so having the choke open hasn't been a problem for me. If you live in a place with cold winters you will want to consider converting it or getting a carburetor mechanic to take the iffy out of it.Replaced by previous owner- Original 350 swapped for a crate 350, TH400 transmission swapped for a TH350 transmission with new drive shaft, bergeson steering shaft, fuel tank selector valve, muffler, bluetooth radio, kick panel speakers, column mounted tach, amber fog lights (removable), additional electric fan with toggle switch. Replaced/Installed Within the Past Year- 4bbl Rochester Quadrajet carburetor, battery, front brake calipers/shoes/hoses, distributor cap/rotor, plugs and plug wires, radiator upper and lower hoses, heater hoses, thermostat, temp sending unit, pcv valve, transmission vacuum modulator, intake cover gaskets and covers, blower motor, windshield washer motor, 4 new tires, grille, driver and passenger side door and window rubber seals, door arm rests, all bulbs inside and out, new carpet with sound deadening mat, rear panel carpet & GM floor mats, new transmission pan with drain bolt, new seat and cover, AC selector valve, rear-end gasket and gear oil, turn signal switch and wiring, passenger door hinges. All fluids changed.Extras- original radio, hood supports, original steering shaft, custom sun shade.This is an antique vehicle and is being sold AS IS with no guarantee. It is not a perfect truck, there are dings and chips in the paint, small rust spots on the cab corners and passenger fender. You are not purchasing a show vehicle.
