Description: This is for an original 1977 Hess Tanker Truck in just about pristine condition with all of its original chrome, nice box and original battery card. I’d almost wager that the truck was purchased on 12-16-77 since it is written on the battery card, battery box, and on the bottom of the box. The battery box is clean as a whistle but when I put a battery in the lights wouldn’t come on. Probably just a loose wire somewhere or maybe it could work with a little tinkering. The only thing missing from the truck is the top insert. A great looking truck that would fit nicely in any Hess truck collection. Check out the scans and email with any questions.
