It was released in 1978 and was pulled from circulation because of the way it looked at a distance. Look at the words "Flick your bic", notice anything weird about the word "FLICK" when you put it somewhere more than 10 feet from you? I've had these for over 25 years as we are Smokey Bear collectors and I bought out the remaining stock from another collector. It's time to reduce some of my collections and I'm selling off my duplicates. These were the paper "slicks", there are some posters that are on poster board, ( I have some of those too) but these were made for advertising the pens and were more "disposable". The cardboard ones are somewhat common to find, but the slicks, well, that's much harder. These are original from the US government printing office, I still have the shipping box they came in. They measure 18" x 12 9/16" wide. Glossy paper and great color. I have a few of these and if your interested in a couple of them I will send them all for the same shipping price.
