The subject is the painter himself in front of his easel, surrounded by his favorite themes and characters. This is an Original Vintage Poster; it is not a reproduction. Note: Charles Sorlier was Marc Chagall's master lithographer. He initiated the painter in the 30’s to the techniques of color lithography. He also drew almost all his original plates, drew most of the works of interpretation, such as this poster.
