1979: Triumph TR7V Tiger, Never Run !

Description: StoryThis particular Triumph TR7V Tiger boasts a unique and fascinating history. Part of a batch of 200 motorcycles exported in 1979 to the Nigerian army, two bikes were refused due to missing parts. These ended up being salvaged by a Belgian businessman, who sent them from Lagos back to his son in Belgium.One of the bikes was stripped for parts, but the other was left untouched in dry storage. Eventually, a devoted Triumph fan since 1974, the current owner, acquired and undertook a full restoration of the bike.Never Run!This bike has mileage zero ! The bike features the original frame, engine, forks, wheels, and brakes from 1979, and even had the original tires (since replaced for safety reasons). To ensure smooth running, the engine was completely stripped, and all gaskets were replaced. During restoration, the pistons showed minimal wear, indicating the bike had only been run once during its initial testing at the Triumph factory in 1979!
