Description: A limited edition of a J & J Cash Woven Bookmark as a "Souvenir of The Independence of America" with images of George Washington and the Signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776. The bookmark was made as a commission (and not sold by Cash's) and woven in the 1980s. The design was a copy of a Thomas Stevens (of Stevengraph fame) design that were woven in the 1880s. The bookmark is cellophane wrapped, mounted and comes with its own envelope (send to someone as a gift?). The 250th Anniversary of the Signing of the Declaration of Independence is in July 2026 ... a reason to buy now before the rush? The bookmark measure 2 x 8 inches (not including the tassel).
