1980 Honda Elsinore CR80R Engine Complete GOOD COMPRESSION New Piston

Description: This 1980 Honda cr80r Elsinore motor was removed and rebuilt. It is still on the stock bore. Previous owner stated, "the cylinder was honed, a new piston and rings were installed as well as the aftermarket ignition parts. The motor was never started or broken in. The project was abandoned after a no spark issue with the new electronics. The motor has good compression and turns like it should. It does not hold pressure as the rings have not been seated and no engine break-in was performed. No further diagnostics have been done but the spark issue is surely a simple fix considering everything is new. The cases look good with no cracks or leaks, no missing fins on the head, the long bolt on the stator cover is missing. The motor is in overall really nice original condition. This motor needs to be sorted out by a qualified technician. The motor comes with everything pictured. The crankcase was drained of oil for shipping and the motor and components will be carefully packaged for safe delivery to the new owner.
