NOT A PRINTThis vintage original watercolor of a "regatta" of sailboats in the open waters of the Florida keys is a wonderful example of Ann's style. It was painted on artist quality woven watercolor paper in lovely, soothing colors. This piece was paint signed on the bottom right of the artwork and titled with location with pen on the matte board. With its fine detail and strong, vivid colors, both the work and matte are in overall excellent condition. This very nice artwork by a very well recognized and collected artist comes wrapped in cellophane for protection. Ann Irvine started painting in the 1960s and is now in her late seventies or early eighties. She's still very active in the Florida Keys and in 2021 she typically sold her works starting at $100 and up to $600 depending on size. Her prints start at $75. This original piece would be in the mid to high range if purchased on location today. Take advantage of this really nice, low cost piece that will be appreciated by any art lover.
