Description: This is one special truck and I'm not going to give it up easy or cheap. I planned to keep and enjoy this for some time, but another project popped up that I couldn't pass up. I am posting this as a 'feeler' while I am away for work the next week. MORE PHOTOS TO COME (additional photos of bed, engine bay, undercarriage). This truck was purchased last month from the late family of the single original owner. I have original sales receipt and current, active+signed title both under this individuals name. The truck was purchased and remained in Bend Oregon for the entirety of its life until last week. The truck never sat for an extended period of time, it was driven at least monthly by the owner or family. The truck is currently located in AZ. I am willing to personally deliver to serious buyer within 1000 miles or split shipping through a licensed+bonded transport agency with buyer. Title in hand and is clean, clear, and ready for transfer to new owner. The truck runs, drives, stops as any toyota should - perfectly. I wouldn't hesitate to hop in it and drive it cross country right now. It starts up cold without issue. Battery holds charge. No leaks, creaks, pops. Idles like a sewing machine. 4WD works perfectly, truck shifts smoothly. It was clearly serviced well its entire life. The only thing on my to-do list under the hood is there appears to have been or be a small leak from a carb gasket that I can see with visual inspection. Though it does not run as if there is a vacuum or fuel leak. I also don't smell any fuel or see any obvious leak when running or after running. The exterior, interior, and undercarriage is remarkable. The term 'garage kept' gets tossed around pretty loosely these days. This is an example of a vehicle that was stored indoors 100% of the time. All plastics, fabrics in the interior are astounding. The vinyl on drivers side door panel is a bit worn from resting arm along window sill. The windows roll up and down smoothly, the drivers window hesitates momentarily on occasion. The passenger door has a primered patch above mirror. I suspect paint loss due to relocation/install of the widened tow mirrors. There are no bubbles, rust around this area. The original mirror mounting points remain intact. The flatbed, as above, is custom made for this truck and was installed when the truck was brand new. It mounts to factory mounting bed mounting points. The kit came with an add-a-leaf for rear suspension. The bed is remarkably well made and includes a storage box on each side, in addition to a very large white toolbox on bed. Toolbox opens from each side and has organizing compartments inside. The wood stakes are easily to remove and stow away allowing for a standard flatbed. The undercarriage is very clean and rust free. It hasn't been cleaned and detailed, painted, mucked with. There is nothing to hide here. Will take additional photos, I ran out of light. Unfortunately, specifics of service history are unknown. Aside from original documentation, truck did not come with additional service history documentation. I am still working to obtain some. Included in sale: Original sales receipt/window paper Sales receipt for flatbed (dealer installed when truck was new)Two keys - the original Toyota key is brand new (appears to have never been inserted in ignition/door - crazy!) Owners manual from Toyota and an 81 Toyota Pickup owners booklet. My 'To-Do' List: New tires needed based on age (these hold air and ride just fine) Small, possible old or current fuel leak under carb, though minor and does not effect drivability. Drivers side window regulator service (works fine but window hesitates every now and then). Please ask if you have any questions! I am happy to answer any questions, problems, or concerns. I am always willing to send you any additional pictures if you'd like to see something closer! Message me any time.
