Description: This is one of the original LAOOC medals from the 1982 Sponsor Meeting that was given to each attending possible sponsor of the 1984 Los Angeles Olympic Games. An official sponsor was any business that contributed $6 million dollars or more to the LAOOC. For this contribution, the business or entity was permitted to call themselves an "Official Olympic Games Sponsor". This medal was coined by Jostens, who made all of the Olympic medals and rings. This medal is slightly larger than the standard 60mm specified for Olympic medals (athlete, winners, etc.) and has very high relief inscriptions, as shown by the side photos. This medal is extremely rare. It does not come in a presentation case, only the medal itself. There are very slight spots of corrosion on the medal, as shown in the photos, as this medal is 40 years old. This has been stored in a non-smoking house. TERMS: U.S. and international sales. Paypal only. SHIPPING U.S.: $20 for Priority mail shipping. This medal will be sent with full insurance and will be sent with signature required. SHIPPING INTERNATIONAL: $80 for Priority Mail Express International Flat Rate Envelope
