In the past 30 years, despite there are release gaps now and then, Australia has produced many Cricket trading cards in most of the season. Futera, regarded as the pioneer manufacturer of modern cricket cards series, had produced cricket cards between 1993 to 1997 and left collectors market with many great cards collection even by today’s standard. One of the distinguished element of Futera Cricket cards series is its inclusion of international cricketers in the cards series in all their releases. Within the many cricket cards series released in the past 30 years in Australia, only few cricket cards series had included the international cricketers, all of them were released between 1993 and 1999 ( by Futera and later Select Australia). Futera had released 8,500 boxes of 1996 Cricket Elite card series (24 packs per box). This card series was a premium quality release, every card even the base cards were printed in metallic-like style. Back to its release date, the RRP price is $7 a pack in 1996. THE SPECIALISTS is a 16-card subset released in the 1996 Futera Cricket Elite card series. Randomly inserted in the pack at 1: 3 packs. This 16-card set included a selection of 16 Australia and international superstars- the most important chase card set of this series. Despite 4250 individually numbered cards produced, the set has always been one of the favorite for cricket card collectors. This listing is one card only.
