This is the author’s second published novel after The Blindfold and is a first edition first printing published by Henry Holt And Company in 1996. The binding is square and tight and immaculate throughout. The last photo shows some waviness which affects the last 12-15 pages but lessens in degree as it continues and there is absolutely no staining as if from a spill. The book has been remaindered as shown on the upper page block. The blue boards are spotless and the black cloth spine and gold gilt lettering are bright and beautiful as shown. The dust jacket is complete and has the original price present on the front flap also as shown with a previous discount book seller’s price sticker to it’s left. The jacket has little to no wear but for some light soiling to the front panel and comes in a Mylar protector which can easily be removed should you wish to.
