Description: (2) Future Flash Tubes - Fast, Low VOC, High Solids Hybrid Polyurethane Sealant 2 Tubes Product Description Future Flash® Sealant utilizes a solvent-free technology, which represents technical advances over existing polyurethane systems. In addition, Future Flash® Sealant demonstrates excellent adhesion to a wide variety of building materials, including vinyl, wood, aluminum and masonry. Future Flash® Sealant is a high performance, UV stable, paintable, low-to-medium modulus, one-component, gun grade hybrid polyurethane sealant. The sealant cures to a flexible rubber when exposed to atmospheric moisture. Basic Uses Future Flash® Sealant is specially designed for use as a sealant in the installation of windows and doors. It can also be used in variety of construction joints and seams. It is designed exclusively for use with the MFM™ Future Flash® Window Waterproofing system and associated applications. All release agents, existing waterproofing, dust, loose mortar, laitance, paints, or other finishes must be removed. This can be accomplished through wire brushing, grinding, sandblasting or solvent washing, depending on the contamination. Tooling & Cleaning Tooling is recommended immediately after application to insure firm, intimate contact with the joint interface. Dry tooling is preferred. Excess sealant adjacent to the joint can be carefully removed with xylene or mineral spirits before the sealant cures. Maintenance Damaged Sealant can be repaired. Consult Tremco Technical Services or a Tremco Sales Representative for repair procedures. Limitations Do not apply over damp or contaminated surfaces.
