2 MELROSE 6 1/2" Coupe Glass Tiffin 17358 Gold Encrusted Etch Wine Champagne

Description: This is for a set of two 6 1/2" tall glasses From Tiffin Franciscan in their MELROSE pattern featuring stem # 17358. This stem is ridged and has an elaborate flow from the bowl of the glass to the base. Please note the height of these plus shape of bowl. Looks like the "Wine Glass" is this height with differently shaped bowl. This is the coupe style champagne bowl but taller than what I see the "Champagne Tall Sherbet" glass is listed as. Look at photos carefully to be sure this matches your set. The top gold band features a pattern of leaves and flowers. The bowl features an etched pattern of ribbons and flowers and swirls. The bowl has an optic cut to it. Tiffin made MELROSE from 1940-1980. Condition of both is very good with no cracks, no chips, no scratches, and no cloudiness from inappropriate dishwasher usage. The only thing to note is a small divet in the rim of both where something hard has made a slight impression in the soft gold. See photos--this is very subtle. The two divets line up when the glasses are side by side. Perhaps someone hit them with a utensil to signal toast time? Other than those two tiny spots, condition of the gold band is stellar and the gold trim on base is also intact with no worn spots.
