Description: Two nice 1920's books in French. The first is a 1927 Edition of "La Chanson de Roland" with commentary by Joseph Bedier. The second is "Histoire de la Poesie Francaise" by Fort & Mandin. Both volumes have the sticker of the well known New York bookseller G.E. Stechert. Both volumes have red leather spines and marbled covers. The condition is very good with tight contents. There is age yellowing to the pages. The covers have minor scuffing. The photos in this listing are not "stock" and are of the actual item.
