He puts forth an offer of a million dollars for the donation of a body from a brain-dead patient. He does not state any restriction on the donor's gender. When his young female secretary dies, her body is used. He then changes his name to J. Eunice Smith. After the transplant, Mr. Smith discovers he can communicate with the girl's personality! They agree not to reveal their communications fearing they would be judged insane. Smith & Eunice decide to have a baby together - so Eunice is artificially inseminated using Smith's sperm bank donation. Her body starts to reject her (Smith's) transplanted brain.
