Description: 2 Vintage Copeland Spode Christmas Tree 10.5" Dinner Plates, 1940, England Copeland Spode's iconic Christmas Tree pattern was introduced in 1938 and has been popular ever since. This pair of dinner plates are impressed with marks which indicate they were produced in May and July of 1940. They have the older brown "Copeland Spode England" stamp, hand painted S2133, and an impressed "Copeland Spode Imperial." The plates measure about 10.5" in diameter. The outer rim has a green band. These plates are in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing. There are very minimal signs of any use. The colors are vibrant.
