Description: There is no doubt about it, Foradoras, by Armand Marseille, are some of the cutest dolls around. THIS doll is, hands down, one of the cutest Floradoras we have EVER seen! With her long flowing, what-we-believe-is-a-human-hair-wig (we couldn't get the darn thing off, to check it out to make sure...and we are NOT going to burn the house down doing the match test to make sure! We will just say, it 'felt' like human hair) and those huge fixed brown glass eyes, and her perfect bisque with its lovely coloring--BAM! She won our hearts . It was only by the smallest edge that we didn't adopt her, ourselves! Then we dressed her up in her wonderful ensemble and--BAM! AMAZING!! She is wearing a adorable pumpkin orange skirt with shoulder straps, edged on the bottom with three rows of laced flounces! Lovely embroidered tape accessorizes the skirt and the straps of the skirt. A lacy collared, white blouse, with a black gros-grain ribbon at the collar and a at the gathered sleeves, is accented with white on white flowered flocking. ( It is hard to see in the pictures) She wears white, hand sewn, muffie-made, plain muslin, pantallettes, stockings and black Mary Jane shoes. Her straw bonnet is decorated with straw and ribbon flowers and kept in place with a pearl hat pin. Her leather body has been patched in places where she was leaking but despite this, she is now on a basically stable, if somewhat battered body. We have stabilized areas where there where possible weak areas so this little girl can continue giving pleasure for years to come.
