Description: I am the original owner. Rarely played as it was part of a collection. Built from 2002 to 2011, the Taylor NS64ce is a crossover-style guitar, bringing nylon string tone and responsiveness to the steel string player, and includes electronics. This is a very interesting instrument for fingerstyle, chord melody, or Latin jazz players who seek the subtle responsiveness of nylon strings, and don’t prefer a traditional classical guitar.Based on the Grand Auditorium Venetian cutaway body style, the Taylor NS64ce pairs an Engelmann Spruce top with Big Leaf Maple for the sides and back. The neck and body blocks are Mahogany, the radiused fingerboard Ebony, and Cocobolo is used for the bridge and head plate. The rosette is a mixture of Hawaiian Koa and Maple. Stock-installed electronics are the Taylor ES-N system by Fishman, tailored for nylon string response. This Taylor NS64ce dates to 2008. It plays well, and has a full, rich sound, with extra top-end clarity provided by the Maple sides and back. The original Taylor hard shell case is included.Model: NS64ce•Year: 2008•Finish Gloss Natural•Class: Used•Country of Origin: USA•Condition: Very Good
