I have always looked and highlighted the flaws so when you get to the good stuff, it really washes out the negative. This is a very special note because it not only has an error, but it has two errors. One error is hard enough to find, but a note with two: Let me explain: Whitman's Encyclopedia Of Paper Money say that an error is worth $25 to $50. (And the book was published at least 10 years ago.) So, this regularly valued one dollar note, being it has 2 errors should be worth at LEAST $50 plus a little for the fluff which goes on error notes. No Fluff here. The first error is the main one and definitely should add at least the high end of a normal error of $50. The last number in the serial number is raised. When the machine advances the numbers, it should be in perfect alignment with the rest of the serial number. it isn't. The 2nd error is just as glaring, and folks love errors like this because can be seen across the room. It's called a SHIFT ERROR. The green s(or third printing) is shifted to the upside and the seal is outside the number one. Notice the picture close up of the seal and serial number. So, there you have it. The condition of the bill isn't quite uncirculated, but with only a few folds (See the pictures how I hold it up to the light so you can see any defects) So, all things considered, this should be at least double the price Im askin'.
