The famous DW suspension does the rest of the work, and it feels like a rocket!Bike and both wheel sets were custom built by Fanatik Bike Co in Bellingham. Every time I take this bike into a bike shop in Jackson, WY, where I live- the mechanics all gather around and drool over it. This is the bike you want-!! Only selling because I will be getting this EXACT bike next season in an XL since I personally prefer a longer cockpit than most for my riding style, but this size Large frame is well within the specifications for someone who is 5'10-6'0+ tall and weighs about 160-200 I bought this bike on PinkBike this spring and it is essentially the same condition -except for one minor ding on the lower swing-arm- as it was in when I bought it. Since then it has easily become my favorite bike ever out of the 5 that I have owned in the last 10 years... It allows me to do things at higher speeds than ever before, etc... I have only ridden it about 100 miles total, and on the new drive train, even less. What you get: New in October: Replaced the entire drive-train: New bottom bracketNew Shimano XT chainNew XT front sprocket (28t) New XT rear cassette New: (with maybe 50 miles on them) Specialized Butcher tires front and rear. New: A 44mm headset riser on it for a slightly longer feel in the cockpit. It made a big difference. Will include original 35mm headset. Comes with Code R brakes. Pads still good.Bike and both wheel sets were custom built by Fanatik Bike Co in Bellingham. Nothing wrong with it at all and I cant think of a single upgrade I would do to it unless I was a pro-rider that needed the stiffer (and heavier) Fox-38 fork.
