Description: 2023 P AMERICAN WOMEN QUARTERS MARIA TALLCHIEF BU OBW BANK ROLLS FROM ATLANTA FEDERAL RESERVE BANK For sale is one (1) unopened H/T OBW roll of 2023-P MARIA TALLCHIEF - AMERICAN WOMEN IN HISTORY QUARTERS These are unopened bank wrapped rolls pulled from a sealed box obtained directly from the bank . One end coin on the roll shows the reverse side of 2022-P Maria Tallchief. The other end of the roll shows the obverse side of coin that displays the bust of Washington. SEALED & UNOPENED means just that, 38 interior coins are unidentified. As a representative sample, four rolls pulled from the box to check coin quality. All of the rolls contained 40 each BU Maria Tallchief quarters. Maria Tallchief was America’s first major prima ballerina. The Osage Tribal Council gave Maria Tallchief a name selected by her grandmother, “Wa-Xthe-Thoṉba,” which translates to “Two Standards.” It reflects Tallchief’s life in two worlds – as an accomplished dance professional and as a member of the Osage Nation, two identities that she proudly represented throughout her life. “The fifth coin of the 2023 American Women Quarters™ Program honors the life and legacy of Maria Tallchief,” said Mint Director Ventris C.
