Description: 23 pieces of Swiss travel ephemera, including tourism brochures (some with maps inside), stationery/envelope from the Hotel Central in Zurich, and a brochure for Albert Burger, a fine watchmaker in Lucerne. Towns and maps included are Zurich, St. Moritz, Pilatus, Zermatt, Interlaken, Axenstein, Fionnay, Geneva, Lausanne, Pontresina and more. Dated, when present, from the late 1940s. Many nice internal maps. Also with brochure and map for the Simplon train line (Swiss Federal Railways), a couple with airplane images, and a panorama of Brienzer-Rothorn in the Alps. A very nice lot. Please also see my other travel-related ephemera. Most in very good condition, a few with edge chipping, small stains or pinholes. The sepia Interlaken Schynige Platte Bahn brochure is fair only with some tears and tape repairs.
