Description: I created these hard drive carriers for the CF to IDE converters for vintage laptops. This auction does not include the CF to IDE converter (it is shown in the second photo so you can see how it fits in the adapter). This carrier ensures that the CF to IDE hard drive does not flop around in the laptop, preventing the drive from shorting out if it comes in contact with metal. It also takes up the space of a traditional hard drive so that you can push the drive into the machine (e.g. with the ThinkPad 701C), and so you can remove the drive (e.g. with a ThinkPad A30).
