Description: Used but not abused. Original first edition Green label Myrhh release. Lp plays with a minimum of pops and surface noise -no skipping , Vinyl tracks perfectly even with a very slight warp on the outer edge. Tracked with no problems at all on my turntable and played with out any skips. Cover has very minor edge wear and no seam splits though obviously it shows signs of light wear and handling. Song sheets with lyrics has one dogeared corner. Vinyl shows signs of play but tracks and plays flawlessly on my turntable with a bare minimum of any surface noise.(note: with lps I can not assure a skip free performance as some people use worn styluses that may not track well. My I recently replaced the stylus on my turntable and it tracks perfectly for me). Please examine all pix as they are part of the description-" a picture is worth a thousand words..." This lp is a landmark in the history of Christian Contemporary Music, the second of Second Chapters Myrhh recordings of "Jesus Music". First pressing Myrhh Green label recordings. Considering the fact that it approaching 50 years of age it is in very good condition and has lots of play time left! It's forerunner, their inaugral lp "With Footnotes" ,was ranked #72 of the top 100 albums in Christian music back in 2001! This lp is its follow up and , like the first,contains the impeccable musicianship of the same studio crew and the wonderful tight 3 part voices of the siblings with the amazing lyrics and melodies of Annie Herring. As with the first lp, this one also contains some of their landmark career performances. Praise and Worship and evangelistic themes are found here in the same stylings as their dynamic first recording "With Footnotes". The lp cover (pictured) displays a little ring wear on the outside cover but still is intact with some edgewear on the sides and cover. The vinyl still has a good bit of sheen to it and plays and tracks perfectly w little surface noise. There is also a lyric sheet that is in excellent condition. This lp was their last studio lp before they went with Billy Hearn to the Sparrow label in the late 70's. Other than a best of and a 3 lp live set, these classic songs are also at the heart of their early work.
