To assemble simply insert the director element in to the boom align the hole in the center of the element with the hole in the center of the boom secure with screw,pressure washer and nut.Repeat above procedure with the reflector element.To assemble the driven elements you need to insert elements in to the boom and align the threaded hole in the element with the hole in the boom secure elements with screws and pressure washer.Mounting hardware is included to support the antenna to the mast...you can mount this antenna either with a vertical or horizontal polarization.If mounted vertically make sure the driven element connected to the center of coaxial line is pointed to the sky.For more details see pictures.Boom is constructed of 1/2 inch pvc schedule 40 pipe with a center core of 5/8" oak wooden dowel ....elements are made of 1/2" copper pipe.This is a version of the popular "tape measure antenna" but this one is specially constructed to be use as a fix or base station antenna.
