She blooms profusely through out the spring and summer with only a few ‘rest periods’ to build back for the next flowering. Peaches and Wine was selected as the winner of The Mary Swords DeBaillon Medal in 2006 – this is the highest award for an iris bestowed by the Society for Louisiana Irises. Louisiana Iris’s are so versatile as to be considered the best all around iris. Peaches and Wine will be about 3 feet tall and is hardy in zones 6 through 11. The Louisiana iris is very easy to grow, trouble free bloom factory! She can thrive in full sun to partial shade and from a regular bedding planting to a pond or bog plant. Beautiful in a mass planting, in a container garden, waters edge, middle of bed planting. You will receive three mature plants / fans.
