Although it has a lot of depth with it's height, the rabbet sits far back. This frame works well with a lot of craft projects such as cross stitch and embroidery, but of course not limited to that. This picture frame is made custom to the size you need. It is made out of 100% solid wood and handcrafted (in the USA) with modern state of the art equipment to give you a high quality product, at a low price. Frames come with the option of adding a wire hanging kit and premium acrylic glass with acid free foam core backing. The size options represent the image size or opening of the frame.
