The coupe shaped plates, which measure 8-3/4" in diameter, were first introduced by Gourmet Expressions (a division of Mikasa) in 2012. Less than one year later, the pattern was retired. These plates feature a beige floral & scrolls décor, taupe background, and taupe underside. This pattern is extremely scarce with very few pieces in circulation. THE MAIN COURSEYou'll find these salad plates to be, at worst, in near-mint condition with only extremely minimal, nearly nonexistent, and infinitesimal surface wear. (If I see even a single utensil mark or the most insignificant scratch, I won't list an item as mint.) Some of the plates are in mint, like new condition with absolutely no surface wear at all. Whether mint or near-mint, the decor is pristine and unblemished, the colors are vivid with no fading or discoloration, and the glaze shines like new. Additionally, all of the plates are completely free of cracks, chips, nicks, crazing, stains, repairs, permanent hard water deposits, and detergent residue.
