This is a nice mixture of 5 VALENTINE'S DAY postcards showing Pretty Ladies with various scenes and motifs for the holiday. These are ANTIQUE postcards from the early 1900s. The postcards have HEARTS, FLOWERS, BIRDS, and other motifs. These postcards are FLAT PRINTED (not embossed). One postcard is from the publisher, Gibson, a well respected firm. These are colorful and nice looking antique postcards. There is one postcard that shows a pretty lady who is playing cards, and this was made in the PEN & INK style. There is a PHOTO of a lady in a white dress holding a large red heart. Another postcard shows a lady in a blue dress giving a note to a bird / dove to deliver. There is a portrait of a lady in a heart with other hears hanging around. And the last postcard shows a woman in a green outfit, with a large red heart and red roses below her. Overall, these are colorful postcards with good detail that make them pleasing to look at. This is a nice mixture of antique Valentine's Day postcards from the early 1900s. They are collector items because of their age and their overall appeal to Valentine's Day postcard collectors. The postcards are UNPOSTED (4) and POSTED (1) with a cancel date of 1919. A few of these would have been "Printed in Germany". The postcards have DIVIDED backs. These are BETTER POSTCARDS and are good for a collector or dealer. They will keep their value.
