They are clean, solid binding, no loose pages. There could be an occasional mark inside of a book of a favorite recipe, but in general they are clean. Some light wear or minor bends on the edges specifically the 1971 first edition Playboys Bar Guide by Thomas Mario. It has a little more wear than all the other books. The 1999 Bartender's Guide has a small bit of staining on the back corner edge. The "Making Drinks" is a spiral bound book from 1976 by Ted Saucier. It has tabs on the edge to quickly find drinks. The last book is Mr. Boston Deluxe. This is a 1976 edition. One small bend in the third page of the book that has the copyright date and a small pen mark under 1976.
