Description: Penn Antique Restoration 54"x27"Vintage Porcelain/Steel Single Sink or Tub * We took photos outside when it was close to sunset and inside under fluorescent light to give you an idea of how it's color varies. Rare, vintage, sink salvaged from a recently demolished, 1889 home in the Greenridge section of Scranton, PA (see last 2 photos). It's made of steel and is covered with a thin layer of porcelain. It's either peach or pink depending upon your lighting. I'm pretty sure this sink was made in Scranton, PA. We used to have a factory in the South side of town that made munitions during WW2 and then produced stamped steel tubs afterwards. This looks like one of those tubs, however, it was converted into a unique sink. Since the sink was installed in the basement, it wasn't used as much as the sinks upstairs and is in great condition. There are just a few scuffs around the top edges (see photo with red circles). However, there are no breaks, cracks, gouges, dents, or corrosion. All it needs is a good cleaning.
