These were found in our storage area. They were purchased to use when we had large family buffets. These were never used. I had three colors that I would mix. These dishes are great because the way they are manufactured makes it very difficult to chip or scratch one. The weight and swirl pattern give your guests a feeling of quality without fear of. breaking if they are bumped. These are a great size and hand wash up nicely or in the dishwasher--in my experience no worries about getting damaged in dish washer--sometimes your "Guest/Helpers" may not be careful loading the dishwasher.
