Description: From my personal green water stock tank - 64 oz / half gallon of healthy, DARK green water. Cultured from aquarium water so also contains infusoria and may contain small number of other microorganisms. I use this for food for my Daphnia and Moina with no problems. I will pull your bottle from my active culture just before shipping for best health. Density will be as pictured - far higher concentration than many - just compare to the practically see-through, lightly tinted cultures other sellers offer. From this concentration, I am normally able to add 1:1 de-chlorinated or aquarium water and green water and have the entire culture return to full concentration in less than 24 hours. You can certainly add more water at a time, but I prefer high algae concentration. Excellent food source for Daphnia and Moina. Please Note: We started this culture form a chlorella sp. culture but it may contain other varieties of algae as well. NOT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION. This is intended to be used for aquarium hobbyists.
