Description: The American Autowire Factory Fit engine harnesses are manufactured according to the original General Motors specifications. Each part number is fully assembled, taped and ready to install upon arrival. This harness will plug into the firewall in the original location, and will follow original routing in the engine compartment. A combination of the engine and front light harness accomplish most functions under the hood of an early GM vehicle. This harness is built for an original alternator with an external voltage regulator. In 2006 rewiring my car was the very first project I did to this car after I purchased it. The following year I added the RS headlights and had to replace this harness with one for a RS. It looks nearly new and is 100% plug and play. No fasteners are missing. I used it with a one wire alternator with an internal voltage regulator.
